ABOUT STARCHILD
STARCHILD records began as an in-house label of King Records in 1982, specializing in anime soundtracks. Following its record label debut with “Mobile Suit Gundam Movie II: Soldiers of Sorrow” soundtrack, STARCHILD continued expanding its diverse music catalog with the release of hit anime series “Zillion” and “Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors),” to name just a few. Extending its focus toward animation production and original video animation, STARCHILD invested and collaborated with animation production companies to create its own TV animation, such as “Blue Seed” in 1994, and the phenomenally successful “Neon Genesis Evangelion.” As the leading label of Japanese animation, STARCHILD continues to produce highly acclaimed titles, such as “Martian Successor Nadesico”, “Revolutionary Girl Utena” and “Love Hina.”
